Signs of Distress in your Sewer Line
Some signs that you may be suffering from sewer line damage are indentation in your lawn, a foul odor or a lack of water pressure. There are common causes for sewer line damage, including corrosion, intrusion from a tree root, deterioration of pipes or joints, and the shifting of soil.
Sewer Line Installation and Repair
Sewer line installation and repair can be a major job. You need someone who not only knows what they are doing, but respects your lawn and landscaping too. We use both traditional excavation method and trenchless methods. It really depends on where the problem occurs.
With trenchless repair, we sometimes use pipe bursting, where small access holes are made on either side of the broken pipe. A hydraulic machine pulls the pipe through the holes to replace it. In pipe relining, we essentially construct a more durable pipe within the existing pipe. Typically, with trenchless repair, we are able to leave the lawn and garden more intact.
What is hydrojetting exactly? It’s where we use high pressure hoses with special nozzles to blast debris, sand or foreign objects that are clogging a pipe. Before we do this though, we use a special camera to make sure that there isn’t problem with the pipe’s integrity, because the force of the spray could do more damage. This is a good preventative maintenance tool as well, particularly with some businesses, like restaurants, because of the nature of the debris in the pipes.[serviceareareviewcombo city=”Scottsdale” state=”AZ” reviewcount=”7″ checkincount=”7″ zoomlevel=”8″]
